Personal Mentoring and Family Coaching - Helping people succeed

Personal Mentoring

Personal mentoring is often described as discovering what is possible in your life, career or business, if you regularly worked with someone to help you identify, clarify, focus, and follow through on what was most important to you.

Your mentor believes in your innate wisdom.  A mentor understands that part of you already knows changes are coming or need to be made.  What could you become or achieve if you had a mentor to provide the right mix of support and challenge to call forth your very best?

A mentor can provide you with an experienced and independent sounding board, and hopefully help you be better able to achieve your most meaningful and fulfilling goals.

And as in all mentoring relationships, the student is also the teacher.  One of the things I am most grateful for are the many teachers and mentors I have had throughout my life.

How can I be of service to you?  In today's world there are so many opportunities for personal growth, learning, self-actualization and expanded consciousness by way of self-help books; magazine and newspaper articles;  workshops, seminars and retreats; "tele-training" and group classes.  Yet something is missing.

What I can help you do:

  • Appreciate who you are today, and who you want to become tomorrow

  • Discover why that's important to you, at this stage of your life

  • Help you look at how you use your time

  • Help you get moving again, and

  • Develop a plan about when and how to get started

I work by face-to-face meetings (when possible and convenient), telephone conversations, emails and faxes.

Here's what I can offer:

  • Creation of a safe and nurturing environment where you will receive individualized, personal, one-to-one attention.
  • Development of a partnership where wisdom is shared - the time honored process of mentoring
  • Together we work to help you discover and uncover your innate wisdom, and what is best for you, at this time in your life - to help you create your future

Where does wisdom come from?

From good judgment.

Where does good judgment come from?

From experience.

Where does experience come from?

From poor judgment.
